In 2023, Studio Bozzetto proposed the addition of an animation pavilion to the Sharjah Children’s Book Fair in Dubai, an unprecedented event in the region. The idea was to create a space focused on animation rather than literature, with local and international influencers discussing animation and communication.

Alongside my boss, I contributed to the entire creative direction, from the logo to the mascot and space layout, overseeing the entire creative process, collaborating with the graphic designers and illustrators who handled the visual elements.

What I’m most proud of, however, is curating the exhibition completely independently. Initially, I was asked to focus on Studio Bozzetto’s work, but I felt it would be too narrow for such an important event. Instead, I decided to broaden the scope and design a path that would be accessible to those new to animation, especially young local people eager to explore the field. I selected works from the studio to highlight the stages of animation, organizing them into panels that were built on-site. Though I couldn’t attend the event in person, I was incredibly proud to see the exhibition come to life, even if only through the event photos.
