I love creating mashup and crossover. As an avid watcher of films and series, I tend to naturally blend elements together when I find commonalities between them.

For example, while watching Arrival, I imagined the valley where the spaceship landed as “Piana di Castelluccio,” a scenic location in my region. Inspired, I recreated the movie poster by using a photo of my valley and added some folkloristic idioms in the local dialect.

Or after watching Startup, a kdrama, I found some similarities between the character of Ryan Gosling in Blade Runner 2049 and Kim Seon Ho, so I just swapped them in the scene where a female (swapped with Suzy) asked if he had a bad day. Even if the future of swapping people is probably already written by various apps and plugins, I just have fun with photoshop, trying to replicate colors and moods, and find good occasions to draw.
